Why should I use the JRC Chain Catcher? The chain catcher offers a means of safeguarding the frame or paint on your bike by preventing damage as a result of the chain falling between the small chain ring and the frame.

How does it fit on my bike? Simply remove the original derailleur mounting bolt and concave spacer and replace them with the JRC Concave spacer, chain catcher and T25 anodized bolt. You'll prevent chain drop and add an extra level of detailing to your bike.

chain catcher

seems like a nicely made item. I have a Campy chain catcher on my other bike. The JRC device is pretty good but not quite the same as the mounting point is the same as the catcher arm hole and the degrailure mount which then forces you to hold and align both simultaneously.
