Do the pulleys require any maintenance?

In general very little maintenance is required for our pulleys due to both the seals and thick grease which is pre-applied.
If you would like to keep them fresh after heavy use, or long mileage and you are confident in peeling back the bearing seals with a scalpel or similar sharp blade, the bearings can be lubricated with a slightly thicker grease, such as lithium grease. Generally this is a good consistency for the bearings.


Will the anodising wear off after use?

Because the tips of the teeth on the pulleys are coming into contact most frequently with the chain, slight visibility of the raw aluminium colour can be expected after consistent use. This will not gradually expand in size however and will only be apparent on the very end of the pulleys at the contact points. Once the pulleys are kept clean, the overall colour of the body will not change over time.

Are the pulley wheels noisier than stock plastic pulleys?

While we dont have a lab based conclusion for this, measuring comparative sound levels, the level of noise when compared to stock plastic pulley wheels should be unnoticeable on a well maintained, lubricated drivetrain.

Will these work with my specific groupset?

Our 11T pulleys are intended for use with a wide variety of groupsets however they don't fit everything. For further clarification about compatibility with your specific groupset, please use our Pulley Selector Tool.

Acabado de muy buena calidad.

Las he montado en mi ultegra y van muy finas. Nada que envidiar a otras marcas que valen cuatro veces más. Ya son varias cosas que he comprado y todo es de buena calidad, los acabados y funcionamiento.

Quality pulley wheels

These pulley wheels are of an excellent quality. Bought to replace the poor quality Shimano wheels which seem to wear very quickly and even when new seem wobbly. JRCs' are expensive but they have proper bearings in them and are metal. Highly recommended.
