To clarify the timeline: your order was placed on the evening of 30th June and dispatched first thing the following morning, 1st July, less than a 24 hour turnaround time.

The shipping method you selected at the checkout was 'DHL Global Mail (4-7 Working Days)', which is listed clearly with the delivery timeline attached.
On the £5 shipping charge: this is far more reasonable than the amount charged by practically any of our competitors or the large online bicycle retailers elsewhere in Europe, and it is in fact only a small portion of the actual cost to us as a business — we pay almost double that to ship the parcel and choose to subsidise the cost to keep it viable for our customers globally to order from us.

The parcel was delivered with Royal Mail on 7th July — the 4th working day, at the fastest end of the stated window. This was an international shipment given we are in Ireland and so naturally takes a bit longer than a domestic shipment; we have done everything in our power to outline that. A faster 'DHL Express (1-2 Working Days)' option was also available to you at the checkout for an upcharge but was not chosen.

With all of the above in mind, we feel it is incredibly unfair to describe the experience as disgraceful — the order was dispatched within hours and delivered well within the timeline you selected.
