Will these top caps fit all types of headsets? These caps are specifically designed for 1.1/8'' fork steerers.

Will the M6 bolt fit my headset expander plug or star nut? It will certainly fit the majority but some headset cap/plug manufacturers use a non-standard system so it's worth checking what's on your bike before ordering.

Is the JRC Top Cap compatible with the JRC Expander Plug so I can just replace the system I have on my bike? Yes, they are designed to work together. You can check out the expander plug here: Lightweight Expander Plug

carbon isn a visible weave its just black

Hi Andreas,

Our apologies for this issue; indeed the image is showing an older version with 3K carbon weave which is inaccurate. The description notes in multiple places that this is a UD carbon design which is the accurate piece, however we take accountability for this error / disparity.
