Shipping policy
All orders are packed and dispatched from Ballineen, Co. Cork, Republic of Ireland. Orders placed before 12:00 noon (Irish time) on a working day are dispatched the same day; orders placed after noon, or on a weekend or Irish public holiday, go out the next working day. Delivery estimates are given in working days and are counted from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.
Orders over €70 (or the equivalent in your local currency) ship free to every destination we serve — applied automatically at checkout.
Shipping options
The exact services, prices and delivery estimates for your order are shown at checkout and depend on your destination and order value.
- Economy untracked — available on orders under €20, our most economical option. No tracking updates; typically around 10–12 working days within Europe and the UK, or similar to the tracked estimate for long-haul destinations.
- Tracked — our standard service. An Post within Ireland; DHL Global Mail internationally, with final delivery by your national postal service (Deutsche Post, Royal Mail, La Poste, and so on).
- Express — our fastest option, door to door by DHL Express, or by FedEx to the United States and Canada. The USA is served exclusively by FedEx: a flat express rate under €70, free express over €70.

These times are estimates, not guarantees — carrier delays can occasionally occur, particularly around public holidays and peak periods.
Tracking
If you choose a tracked or express service, your tracking number is emailed to you automatically once your order is dispatched. International tracked parcels are handed to your national postal service for final delivery, so tracking may show a quiet period mid-transit before updating again in your country — this is normal. Economy untracked orders do not come with tracking.
Customs & import charges
EU: we ship from the Republic of Ireland, so all orders within the EU are intra-EU shipments — there are no customs charges or import taxes to pay.
UK & other non-EU: our prices do not include import taxes or duties. Depending on your country's rules and your order value, you may be asked to pay import VAT, duty, or a carrier handling fee before delivery. These charges are set by your local authorities, are the responsibility of the customer, and are not something we can calculate or refund.
Addresses, delays & questions
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout — we dispatch to the address exactly as provided. If you spot a mistake, contact us as soon as possible and we will correct it if the order has not yet been dispatched. If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated delivery window for your service, or for anything else shipping-related, email info@jrc-components.com with your order number and we will look into it right away.
